Visit Joseph's village
Sunday, April 08, 2012We had breakfast, drove to see Joseph for meetings this morning. When we got there, we had breakfast again. And at noon, lunch, before heading home. Dave spoke at an international congregation in the afternoon, then to visit Charlie and his group in the evening. Great day!
Learned that rice fields are flooded to control weeds. They start the rice somewhere else, flood the fields, then plant the rice (sticking out of the water, of course.) That way, no weeds can grow (unless it’s within the cluster of rice starts.) Very interesting—
