Well, I made it to Browns (in the rain) Monday night, at about 11:54 pm. It was a long trip, stopping at Costco in Independence MO, to get my tires balanced - a “half-hour to forty-five minutes” stretched into an hour and forty-five! Oh, well. No problem.
Trip started out with snow in SD for about 2 hours, and rain in MO / IL for the last 5. Come to find out, that yesterday (Tuesday) we received another 4.21” here on the farm. Indian Creek is out (to the North), as well as the Bonpas to the East (well, there’s no bridge there anymore, but it’s still too high if there was.)
Tomorrow, the plan is to drive to Pierceton, IN, then fly to CT on Friday. We’ll see!

Just a quick update - made it to Mitchell last night. Interesting drive - had to do 35-40 mph on the interstate in ID because of the snow (3-4:00 AM). Not too often I do that! Trip took 18 hours, Google said 15:43.
Motel6 here FINALLY got internet so I can post. Today scheduled to arrive in Browns, but we’ll see about the time.
