It's been a while

I just noticed that it’s been almost over a month since I have written something, so I thought I better get something up…because Miles and Julie both reprimanded me for an empty blog.
Last weekend I was in Canada (drove up on Thursday, back on Sunday). The purpose of the trip was to film JRC - 4 sessions at Last Days Conference, as well as drive a truck-load of merchandise to the CDN office. Though my time was short, it was very good to see everyone at church again (I gave a quick Missions Minute).
I think the conference went ok, though I think we could have done better (given more time and better equipment.) But for now I’ll be trying to put that together for a video and see how it goes…
I drove up with a full truck - for the GSC office, and then filled up to go to the conference, and full on the way back down to ID. I’m so glad for my truck, and that Russ didn’t drive his mini-van. So, Friday was full of getting ready for the video shoot (as well as collecting a pile of books to take with us.) Friday was also the first session, starting at 9:00 pm.
Saturday was full as well, first session at 9:00 am. JRC spoke (and we filmed) at 2:00 pm. and 7:00 pm as well. The conference was finished at around 10:00, and got back home (in Olds) around midnight. Then up early (or so) to prepare something for a missions minute. Once over (I left after the second Minute), went to the office, unloaded my truck, then filled it up w/ almost 3,000 pounds of books (I could have easily taken more!) Then, picked up Russ, and drove to ID. It was a full weekend.
Just thankful in general. There is a lot to be thankful for.
